Identity and Credentials on Demand
By using Anakam.ODI to manage external access to your data and systems, you no longer need to maintain a ‘first factor’ - user name and password - identity management process for those users. Our solution integrates risk-based authentication with out-of-wallet question generation and response scoring to minimize the costs of identity proofing while maximizing the likelihood that the person conducting the transaction is who they claim to be. This streamlines your business process and allows you to concentrate resources on your core mission.
Once an identity has been verified by Anakam.ODI, the user can then be registered for Anakam two-factor authentication and receive a credential that will be used to grant access in the future. You determine which credentials you will accept based on internal risk, individual business needs, and compliance requirements. This allows you, your vendors, and your business partners to all accept the same credentials to simplify your business processes and limit the risk of unauthorized users gaining access to your data.
A: Anakam On-Demand Identity is a Web-based service that delivers identity verification, identity proofing, credential verification and two-factor authentication in an cloud-based Application Service Provider (ASP) model. Instead of installing Anakam Identity Services on their own servers, organizations can make a Web Services call to Anakam for identity-related transactions. The fact that these transactions are hosted outside the enterprise will not be visible to end users.
