"Expanded authentication channels covering the broadest range of choices in the industry to allow customers more flexibility while still protecting system access to their sensitive data with NIST Level 3 authentication."
Anakam’s Two Factor authentication progressive platform ranges from hard or soft tokens through SMS messaging, IVR, and voice biometrics based on the risk profile of the transaction. This fully supports enterprises which seek the use of tokens for a subset of their user population while also meeting the highly varied authentication requirements of extended user groups.
Users can authenticate via OATH-compliant hard tokens and mobile (soft) tokens with the token activation process built into the authentication work-flow. This capability meets recent federal guidelines for two-factor authentication, like the DEA ruling on Electronic Prescription of Controlled Substances (ECPS), and accommodates situations where customers cannot receive the onetime passcode through text messaging or interactive voice response.
Anakam’s OATH-compliant server allows the use of a broad variety of open, standards-based hard tokens, as well as downloadable OATH-compliant software modules for mobile phones and other computing platforms. This authentication path reaches the broadest set of end users in the enterprise lifecycle. An enterprise can choose to retain and maintain a diverse set of token suppliers for the limited population that will adopt them, while also being able to support the business needs of those who will never be issued hard token or adopt downloadable software tokens to their phones or other internet connected devices.
